Decision 101 was adopted during the 33rd Ordinary Session of the Executive Council held in Nouakchott, Mauritania, from 28 – 29 June 1018. Decision 1015 made some concerning recommendations. An analysis of the Decision conducted by the Coalition for the Independence of the African Commission (CIAC) found these recommendations particularly concerning as, if implemented, could potentially undermine and weaken the independence of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (African Commission).
